Tai Chi?
Advanced riders have a secret that the rest of us are still
struggling to learn that good riding is more than a push of
the leg or a tickle of the rein. To achieve that beautiful unity of
horse and rider we all admire, advanced riders use their entire
body, subtly transferring their weight to encourage the horse to
move underneath them. An essential part of using your body in riding
is to have a balanced seat. However, if you are expected to sit
straight and balanced on a horse, you must first be straight and
balanced on the ground. That is where Tai Chi comes in
